Your role at ACA

If sustainability has long been more to you than a tree hugger story and you're ready to make a difference, you've come to the right place at the ACA Group. For us, passion takes precedence over knowledge, so we don't expect you to know all the technical ins & outs of sustainability. It's important to us that you feel a sincere commitment to the subject of sustainability and that you like to explore the various underlying themes with us.

In this role you will take responsibility for:

The internal welfare and prevention policy with external advice
Internal Health campaigns and initiatives
Establishing & maintaning partnerships with charity organizations
Helping to coordinate projects in other areas: internal connectedness, internal communication, marcom
The follow-up of different sustainability projects: budget and deadlines
Progression reporting of the sustainability projects
Yearly Sustainability Plan brainstorming with the sustainability lead
The follow-up of our sustainability goals
Preparation of sustainability campaigns with different departments
Diving into the projects where needed
Project Management & Administration

Carbon Footprint Plan of Action
Organizing a health campaign for the internal ACA team f.e.: Sporty Spring Challenge
Organizing internal and external sustinability think tanks with our event manager
Following up and drawing up plans for the internal welfare and prevention policy with advice from our external welfare and prevention service

Do you have what it takes?

Hard skills

Strong communication skills (English & Dutch) are essential both orally and in writing
You know how to turn theory into practice
It's a + (not a must) if you have experience, an education of a personal project in sustainability

Soft skills

Authenticity ranks high in your personal values
A positive critical mindset is much needed in a world full of "greenwashing"
Enthusiastic, creative quips are not unknown to you
Taking ownership does not deter you
Should you still have doubts... a <3 for sustainability is rather crucial for this job ;)
